At the UNCED, the International Decade for Action, ‘Water for Life,’ was also launched to address water-related issues through the year 2005.

Each year, governments, organizations, and communities around the world participate in World Water Day activities and events to raise awareness about water-related issues and promote sustainable water management practices.

Theme
