For the last 9 months, farmers have been demonstrating on the borders of Delhi. During this, when the farmers had announced to take out a tractor march in Delhi on 26 January, this march took a violent form. Many protesters had reached the Red Fort. In this case, Delhi Police arrested many people. The farmers alleged that the Delhi Police did not convey the information about the arrest to the family and many farmers were missing.

Farmers’ organizations have demanded that the government should immediately repeal all three of its agricultural laws, but the government has refused to do so. The government has said that if there is talk, it will be only on the amendment. At present, the talks between the farmers and the government are closed for several months.
