Gyanvapi Case Verdict, Who will win the case?

In Varanasi district, the police commissioner had imposed Section-144 in the district only yesterday. Since this morning, the city of Varanasi is full of police security.

Varanasi Police Administration is on alert mode. To maintain law and order, the entire city is divided into sectors. There are strict instructions to the police force.

District Judge Ajay Krishna had reserved the order in the matter on August 24. It was announced to pronounce the verdict on 12th September.

Five Hindu women have sought permission for worshiping Hindu deities present in the Gyanvapi Masjid premises. In particular they reached the court regarding the permission to worship every day at Shringar Gauri.

A survey was also done in the mosque on the orders of the court. After the survey, the Hindu side had claimed that Shivling was found in the Wazhu Khana of mosque. While the Muslim side called it a fountain.

Hindus believe that in the year 1669, Aurangzeb broke a part of the Kashi Vishwanath temple and built the Gyanvapi Mosque.

The Anjuman Intezamiya Managing Committee has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court stating that the order of the Varanasi Civil Court conducting the survey of the Gyanvapi premises is clearly in violation of The Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act 1991.

The Hindu side’s claim in Varanasi’s Gyanvapi Masjid dispute may be rejected, but if it doesn’t, will the court allow the worship?
