UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya had to leave the BBC interview midway and run away. When a BBC journalist asked him tough questions on the hate speech given in Haridwar Dharma Sansad, he stopped the interview midway.

He pulled the reporter’s mask and asked him to delete the footage.

The interviewer asked him questions on the silence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the government on the hate speech. Maurya said that we do not need to prove ourselves. We work on the basic mantra of Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas. Religious leaders also have freedom of expression, they can keep their point openly in this country.

Maurya said why you only show Hindu religious leaders? Why don’t you question the remarks of religious leaders of other religions? How many people left Jammu and Kashmir and migrated before 370 removed? Why don’t you talk about their escape? Dharma Sansad was not a BJP program.

The interviewer said that whether such a religious parliament does not spoil the atmosphere of the country, how is this issue different from politics?

When asked about the call for genocide of Muslims in the Dharm Sansad, Keshav Maurya said that he did not know anything about it. You are not talking like a journalist. You are talking like an agent. I won’t talk to you

In anger, Keshav Maurya removed his mic and left the interview in the middle.

BJP is surrounded on hate speech issue. The top level leaders of BJP are ignoring this issue.

Hindu Religious leaders openly gave ahte speech in the Dharm sansad and call for Muslim’s genocide. Only few FIR and summon given in this case so far.
