Govt cuts LPG price by Rs 200 per cylinder

Approval of an additional Rs 200 subsidy under Ujjwala Scheme, making total subsidy Rs 400. Around 30 crore households to benefit from LPG gas cylinder price reduction.

Major city LPG cylinder prices as of August 1st: Delhi - Rs 1103, Mumbai - Rs 1102.50, Kolkata - Rs 1129, Chennai - Rs 1118.50.
